Think I need help... too embarrassed to ask!

Why is it I can add word links to my page but not logo's? Feel like I am losing the plot...do i need html code to do it? Everyone else seems to know what they're doing lol. Every blog I have visited is brimming with logo's. Arrrrggggghhhhh!!! Bet my 3 yr old could figure it out...(!)
